Bromet Primary School is situated in Oxhey Road, Bushey in a residental area. We are lucky to have a great outdoor space with a nature trail and our own garden which is maintained by staff, parents, carers and children. We accommodate children from the ages of 4-11 years. We currently have 281 pupils on roll. In March 2013, we were judged by Ofsted to be ‘good’ with ‘many outstanding features’. Personal development was judged to be excellent and team work amongst staff to provide the best for all children was noted. We are extremely proud of school and all our achievements.
Our Mission Statement is “Enjoyment and Achievement for all”. We implement a ‘skills based curriculum’ where teaching and learning is matched to the children’s interests and needs. We aim to help pupils develop lively enquiring minds and to become independent learners achieving their full potential whilst with us. Through our school, we prepare children to take their place in a multi- cultural society; showing respect and understanding for all cultures and religions.
Within our school we work together with our children, parents, carers and community to ensure a learning environment that inspires confidence and success. We encourage our children to be self- aware and respectful of themselves and others. We all work hard to create a caring, happy, safe and supportive atmosphere to encourage a life-long love of learning.
